Amanda Windred is currently studying a Masters in Music Studies (Opera) at the QLD Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Professor Lisa Gasteen (AO).
2013 Winner Elizabeth Muir Memorial Prize (Singing) Postgraduate Competition, at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
2012, Amanda Windred also had the privilege of performing the role of Hattie Lamb in a workshop of Cloudstreet the Opera with director Gale Edwards, musical director Simon Kenway and composer George Palmer.
2012 Semi-finalist McDonalds Performing Arts Operatic Aria competition (Sydney Eisteddfod) and runner- up in the Operatic Voice section.
Amanda Windred was awarded a scholarship to joined 25 other young singers at the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School, where she worked intensively for 3 weeks with a team of Internationally renowned experts in Nov/Dec 2012.
Amanda Windred had the privilege of being a 2011 Telstra Wholesale Young Artist with Pacific Opera and completed her Advanced Diploma of Opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
